Dr. Pamela Egan, DNP, CDE
Dr. Pamela Egan, DNP, CDE, is a leading expert in the fields of Functional and Anti-Aging medicine. A graduate of Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Pam’s distinguished career as a Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator includes over 32 years of clinical practice. She has completed a Fellowship in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine with the Metabolic Medical Institute & masters from the USF College of Medicine.
An avid writer, she has served as a co-investigator for several medical research studies, and has published numerous articles in newspapers, professional nursing journals, niche publications and books. Nurse Practitioner Egan remains dedicated to disease prevention, and is available by appointment to help you stay healthy. Check out her book, "Managing Menopause with Bio-Identital Hormones". Dr. Egan is passionate in helping her patients obtain optimum health!

Lauren Defour, MSN, FNP-BC, FIM-P
Lauren Dufour was born in Memphis, Tn and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. She has lived on the Northshore for the past 30 years.
Lauren has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama Birmingham. She is board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has a Certification in Functional and Integrative Medicine and is a participant fellow in Anti-Aging & Functional Medicine (A4M). She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner that practices functional and integrative medicine, hormone replacement, peptides, detoxification, primary care for men, women, and children, and is a Certified Health Coach.
Lauren’s goal in treating her patients is to restore health by addressing the root causes of disease and get them healthy at the cellular level.
When Lauren is not treating patients, she enjoys Pilates, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.
